March 2020 - Ongoing

COVID-19 Response

With such a key focus and reliance on technology around the world currently with the current pandemic. We understand the need to ensure that all of our community has the same access to learning whether in school or at home. Working closely with school management and teachers we have been able to provide a full blended learning experience with recorded content loaded daily onto our website and live lessons and assignments being managed through our custom Microsoft Teams learning platform. We have also been able to provide over 62 families with devices and are constantly working to provide more children a better home learning experience.

June 2020 - Ongoing

All Saints' E-Forms and Finance Portal

As like most schools, All Saints' uses a lot of paper for various different forms. Due to this and situations around the current pandemic we are migrating the way our forms are completed with a bespoke SharePoint finance platform for all order forms, leave requests, sickness, over-time and much more. We are also able to sign off BACs and credit card payments which are fully audited. Our bespoke system has been viewed and approved by local authority financial audit team.

Fire Alarm Wireless Link

Due to our new build have a seperate fire alarm system we needed a way to have both systems linked so they would both sound if either activated. We looked at various different options before working closely with a provider to link both of our sites.

August 2020

All Saints' Website Redesign

The school website had been in place for over 5 years and with an ever more demand on the website with new home learning with transitioned to a fully bespoke site created fully in house to provide easier access to our families. With the site being built on a brand new management system this now means we have full control and customisation available to us to ensure the website continues to evolve and develop along with the requirements of the school and the community.

April 2019

New VoIP Phone System

All Saints' had a very dated and simple phone system which did the job but was showing its age. A decision was made to look for a new and better system. After 3 months of meeting and testing systems we settled on a hosted VoIP system with PolyCom VX411 handsets. The system would run over the schools dedicated leased fibre connection meaning that it would add a greater option for versatility in the future with office staff being able to externally and the future expansion being able to be more seamless across the system. We worked directly with the school and a new provider to provide and install a brand new Polycom VoIP phone system with state of the art features to improve the daily operation of the school.

Microsoft Training

As part of our vision to go cloud based with Microsoft. We have been able to get 2 members of staff full certified with the Microsoft Innovative Educator program. With this we have been able to provide high quality training to over 200 external school members on different aspects of home learning, cloud based working and the Microsoft Teams platform. We are constantly striving to ensure we can keep working with schools to provide the best development opportunities for staff to allow everyone to have a better experience with technology and learning.

All Saints' Cloud Project

Our cloud project is so far one of the biggest projects we have ran. Working with all school staff and pupils to migrate to a fully custom Microsoft O365 platform with all laptops connecting to an Azure AD domain and reducing the need for an onsite server. This project is still ongoing so check back soon for further updates...

April - September 2020

All Saints' New Build and Network

Working as part of the project team we were responsible for designing, sourcing and implementing a new network within the new build which would directly link to our existing school domain. With over 50 meters of fibre cables, 25+ new data points, an Aruba switch, 3 new Aruba APs we were able to create a new sub network to our existing site. With full data and Wi-Fi capability including a CleverTouch interactive screen, Dell PC and Polycom VoIP phone. Our new build is now fully equipped to operate as its own entity whilst under the All Saints' domain.

May 2019

New VoIP Phone System

After the success of the All Saints' phone migration we started to work close with another school in the city to provide the same migration their system. With only 2 lines coming into the school meaning that out of the 6 phones only two could be used at once. They decided it was time to make the jump to VoIP. 6 brand new Polycom handsets running via VoIP. Due to running the system via VoIP instead of the pre installed 2 phone lines means that all phones can be on calls at the same time without getting any interference or being able to hear conversations on the other phone. With the new Auto Attendant feature this has also improved the schools ability to expand and add different options for different departments without being constricted to a chargeable fee for the changes to be made.
